The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children is a British child protection charity founded as the Liverpool Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children by Thomas Agnew on April 19, 1883. They’re leading the fight against child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. They believe that every childhood is worth fighting for. Which is why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, protect children at risk, and find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.
